Overview

Fortress lets the little birds in and keeps the bullies out. A sturdy metal cage surrounds the seed tube, so chickadees, finches and titmice can slip through while squirrels and big birds can't reach the food.

Why you'll love it

  • Squirrel-resistant cage. Well-spaced metal bars protect the seed from squirrels and larger birds.
  • 4 feeding ports with perches. Several birds can feed at once, with rods to rest on between bites.
  • Built for weather. Metal frame and clear PC tube stand up to rain, wind and snow.
  • Easy refills. Wide opening for quick filling and better airflow to keep seed dry.

Good to know

Best with sunflower hearts, nyjer or small seed blends. Hang 5+ feet from the ground and 8–10 feet from jumping-off points for best squirrel defense.
